Code-switching is one of sociolinguitics phenomenon when a speaker bilingual or multilingual switch from language to another one. The research aims figure out types teacher’ code-switching in the teaching and learning process English class. study applied case qualitative descriptive research. participant was an teacher at state Islamic school Sumedang. Observation interview were used collect data, data analyzed based on theory proposed by Poplack (1980). revealed that (1) three code switching, namely: intrasentential inter-sentential tag switching; (2) most frequently switching followed inter sentential switching.
